Who can I contact about a major issue ina house I have bought?
On 21 November 2023 we had a large amount of rain and one of the rooms are now flooding from the water coming through a gap between the wall and floor.
I contacted the insurance company, which just said it is groundwater, and they are not paying for the repair. I also spoke to my legal insurance and because they are part of the same group they told me to reach out to the seller, who denied having knowledge of this issue despite living here for 15 years.
Is there anything I can do legally to get any kind of financial restitution for the repair?
