What is the possible consequence if I disagree with a new bonus clause proposed by my employer?

The company I work for is under process of sale and purchase to a new owner, through an MBO scheme. For existing employees, it is anticipated to have contract take over and possible adjustment. The potential new employer has just proposed to change the bonus scheme within the contract. I am requested to sign and send it back within the coming 4 days, while I am not completely happy with it.

Would appreciate any input on this. Thank you in advance.

If the employer is entitled to change the bonus clause when the employee does not agree, depends on the employment contract and any additional agreements. It is also important to know why the employer wants to change the bonus scheme and if there is a compelling business interest. For more information and advice you can contact me.
