Verklaring tekenen na ontvangst leeg pakket
Wij hebben via een winkel en dan bij een door hun geverifieerde partner een horloge besteld op 23-03. Nu hebben wij op 28-03 het pakketje ontvangen echter bij opmaken zat er enkel papiervulling in en geen horloge. De verpakking was verder niet beschadigd en ongeopend. Dit hebben wij op 28-03 direct gemeld bij de betreffende winkel die op onderzoek uit ging. 31-03 hebben wij wederom gebeld met de betreffende winkel, omdat wij nog niets vernomen hadden. Er werd toen aangegeven dat zij op 30-03 met het partnerbedrijf contact hebben gezocht, maar nog geen reactie hadden gekregen. Op 02-04 hebben wij wederom gemaild met de betreffende winkel, omdat wij graag zouden willen weten hoe nu verder. 03-04 hebben wij een mail ontvangen met daarin een verklaring welke wij moeten ondertekenen.
Hierin wordt gesproken o.a. over valse verklaringen inclusief boetes en gevangenisstraf. En dat deze verklaring dan in de rechtbank zou kunnen worden gebruikt. Wat kunnen jullie ons adviseren in deze zaak? Wij hebben niets ontvangen dus willen best een verklaring tekenen, maar wij twijfelen heel erg aan de intenties van deze webwinkel dat overigens gevestigd is in Duitsland. Want waarom gaan ze niet eerst onderzoeken, maar gelijk een dreigbrief versturen. Zie hieronder een deel van de brief

punishable with imprisonment of up to three years or with a fine. I have read and
understood the reference to the meaning and the punishability of false statements in
an affidavit.
