Rights on kitchen contract?

After a showroom tour of one of the kitchen stores in Amsterdam on the 30th of October 2022, I was made to sign a contract for the purchase of a kitchen. On the 8th of Nov, the company was informed in writing that we had decided to put on hold our decision to renovate our kitchen. This was followed up repeatedly and made clear to the client services on phone when they called that we had made a decision not to continue with the kitchen renovation and should be put on our file. No down payments were made. No measurements taken. We have now received email from them after a year stating that we needed to pay for the kitchen including the additional increase. What rights do we have?
