Reporting a hotel for bedbugs, and compensated for damages?

We were 4 people staying in a local Amsterdam hotel, and we woke up in the middle of the night with bedbugs everywhere. The hotel did not put us in a new room so we had to find another hotel and pay for it ourselves. The next day, we had to spend hours and many euro in a laundromat to treat everything we could, but still had to throw away bags that we could not run in the dryers. Two people had bad allergic reactions to the bites, and one had to seek medical attention.

The hotel will only refund the night we stayed, but refuses to pay for the other hotel (we were forced to stay in bc this hotel had no rooms and bed bugs everywhere), the laundry costs, or any damages related to items we could not salvage.

Is there anything we can do? We could barely afford the extra costs and have had to throw bags we cannot currently afford to replace long term. Is there anywhere to report a hotel for bedbugs, and is it possible to be compensated for damages?
