If the freelancers are in titleted to a money for lunch allowence in 8 hrs day of work ?

I'm a freelancer and sometimes I work as a hostess on the trade shows at RAI in Amsterdam for a company on a freelance contract bases. They work with different clients. This time I worked on the 26-28 August 8 hrs a day and the client was ready to pay a lunch allowence but my agency told the client that as a freencer I'm not in titled to it . Could you please let me know more information about this matter?
