Hello!
I have a flexible membership to a gym. I have been trying to cancel it for months. I have called them, filled in their contact form, filled in an unsubscription form (this one just recently because it was nowhere to be found before) and sent them emails. They didn't react to anything for a long time, even though I begged them to end my subscription. Ultimately I got an answer; pay 1€ to them via iDeal and we can cancel your membership. This email was accompanied with a link to the payment, which did not work. I tried to pay with different devices and different browsers. I told them about this, but after that they had added new payments to my bill. Now it's already over a hundred euros and I have lost another hundred by paying the monthly bill (they took it from my account and I didn't know it was possibly to block them). Now they are saying: if I don't pay that hundred, they don't cancel my subscription. But I tried to cancel so many times when there was no payments that I had not paid. And they are now adding 40 to it every month and sending me emails asking for the money. I have tried to explain them the situation but they do not care and say I have to pay. What are my options? I am a student and don't think it's fair that I would have to pay this since they are scamming me and I have already lost a lot.
