Consequence termination before starting work?
I have accepted and signed an employment contract in the Netherlands but since I received a way better offer just recently in another country, I want to pursue that opportunity. My start date is the 1st of August in the Netherlands, however, I have already sent the company all the documents required for them to start my application for a work/residence permit.
Are there any legal consequences in case I tell them that I changed my mind and will not be joining them? Also, they are using a third-party company to assist me with immigration matters, can they pass these costs to me in case I decide to not join them since the application process is already on the way? Will there be any problems with the IND?
