Canceling kitchen contract?

We ordered a showroom kitchen for our newly-built house last year. Our house is still not ready for the installation, but last week we were told by the kitchen store that during moving the kitchen from showroom to their storage, they have broken the countertop. They told us that we can pick from other colors and materials, but we don't like any of them. Is it possible to cancel the contract now?
