Can employer refuse to extend contract?

At the beginning of this year, I started working in a new company.
After a little over two months of work, due to the pressure and stress that my manager put on me, and the situations that took place in my previous workplace, I had to consult a doctor who said that I was burnt out professionally and I was not able to work until my employer provides me with support to reintegrate into my duties that It did not receive.
Attempts have been made which have always resulted in aggression from my manager and hard negotiations when I return to work, cause as according to him it depends on me and not on the company. All these situations led to the deterioration of my condition.
Last week I received a document that my contract expires on July 31, 2023 and will not be extended without giving a specific reason. In addition, I received a payslip, but I did not receive a transfer to my account. Usually payslip showed my account number for the transfer, this time the payslip says "Per Kas"
No one informed me that the salary would be paid in a different way than before.
My questions are:
What can I do in this situation ?
Can the employer refuse to extend my contract in connection with this situation without giving a reason?
If not, why might they not renew my contract?
What does the statement "Per Kas" mean and can the employer change the form of payment my salary without consulting me?
I am asking for help in this matter, because due to all these events my condition is only getting worse.
