Good morning, Last year I was supposed to work with a construction company on a business relationship. In order to establish a good collaboration, that company gave me a new printer as a gift. Unfortunately, it did not lead to a collaboration and we had to part ways. To my surprise, this company sent an invoice in November for the printer that was given to me. I did not respond to that invoice. Last week a reminder was sent. Should I respond to this, and if so, how?

You can respond by saying that the printer was given to you as a gift. If the printer was given so that you could use it to carry out assignments within the framework of the collaboration, you could also return the printer with the message that now that the collaboration is not going ahead, you no longer need the printer.
