Questioner

I received an offer from a magazine: 10 issues for 5 euros. I explicitly looked for conditions and small print, but the offer did not contain anything, so I assumed it was really without obligation. Now, after the 10 issues, I received the bill for a whole year and immediately contacted them to say that I did not want this, but they refer to the small print in their colophon that the contract must be terminated at least 2 months in advance, which means that I should have terminated the contract after 2 issues. I returned all issues by registered mail, but they also return it to me and now I have the debt collection agency on my roof. What is the best thing to do?

Lawyer

Dear questioner, Trial subscriptions may not be extended tacitly since the Dam law. You can appeal to that.
