Do you not agree with delivery?

We had a total renovation carried out by 1 contractor. We work in healthcare ourselves and have no knowledge of construction and what is good and what is not. After the renovation we had a delivery building inspection carried out which we were quite shocked. The report is available. Now the contractor wants to deliver the entire project next week. We cannot agree to the delivery. What should we do and what are the next steps we should take? We have taken out legal expenses insurance but they do not cover this because it is an existing conflict and a waiting period of 3 months is applied. Can you help us further?

Is it about construction errors, about work that was carried out differently than agreed, etc.? In general, you should address the contractor that you cannot agree to delivery and that you give him the opportunity to repair the errors/damage.
