This is for possible final settlements etc. It is possible that your tenancy agreement states that you must give a new address. It is stated in my lease that I would give my new address. In the meantime, the contact with the landlord has been so disrupted that I no longer want him to know my new address. Nevertheless, I signed for this. My landlord now wants to withhold my deposit if I do not give my new address. What should I do?

The landlord may only retain the deposit if there is a rent arrears or if the tenant has caused damage to the rental property. Your landlord may therefore not retain your deposit for this reason.
