What costs does insurance cover in the event of a single-vehicle accident?

Questioner

I bought on 15 06 2022 and unfortunately 2 days later an accident with the scooter completely loose. This resulted in my girlfriend being hospitalized with serious injuries. Now my question is simple, I was well insured. Can the hospital costs be recovered from the insurance? This is a one-sided accident and there are no further injuries, nor damage to third parties. Only my girlfriend herself I have nothing. So my question is simple: should my insurance pay the physio or not? Because my girlfriend has permanent damage to the shoulder that was shattered, there are now titanium pins in it, but according to the insurance they do not pay anything towards the costs?

Lawyer

Good afternoon, How annoying to hear that your girlfriend has suffered such serious injuries. It is quite possible that your insurer will have to reimburse the costs of the physiotherapist (and the other damages) of your girlfriend. If you have taken out Passenger Insurance, your insurer will almost certainly have to reimburse the damages. If you have not taken out Passenger Insurance, your insurer will have to reimburse the damages if the accident was caused by your fault. Please feel free to contact our office without obligation to discuss the possibilities (033-3037947 or 06-27494948). Yours sincerely, Jorian van Oel Solvit Personal Injury Lawyers
