I am being fired at the end of January because I have been late a few times. I have been a permanent employee since 1 April 2013. Now they say that I am not entitled to transition costs and my end date should therefore not be the end of March.Lawyer
If the employer terminates the employment contract, you are in principle entitled to a transition payment. This is different in the case of, for example, summary dismissal, but apparently that is not the case here. You must have started proceedings with the subdistrict court within 2 months of the date of dismissal, otherwise your right to a transition payment will lapse.
