Change parenting plan?

Questioner

Hello, My ex-wife and I have been divorced for almost 5 years. Our parenting plan at the time has never changed in the meantime. That always went well because we got along well together and often deviated from it. Which was to our advantage for both of us. Now I have a girlfriend after 4.5 years but my ex-wife is very jealous. Now she starts talking about the parenting plan and that I have to stick to the rules exactly etc. which is also right. Only in the meantime I have gotten a busier job etc. I have my son 3 weekends according to the parenting plan which I have always stuck to and also to the alimony, only the holidays that changed often. Because they also have to be 50/50 which I think is fine but then I actually only have 1 weekend for myself. Now my ex-wife says that I have to stick to the holidays exactly and exactly all the costs that she makes for our son also everything exactly in half. Isn't it possible to change the parenting plan? My suggestion would be to make my son every other weekend and the holidays a bit more reasonable. Not that it matters but my ex-wife works 3 days and is a school teacher so she does have more time off than me. That is because of her work. Working less is not possible for me because I own a house and the associated costs. I will hear what is possible. If there are any questions I would like to hear them.

Lawyer

It is possible to change the parenting plan. You can discuss this together with your ex-partner and if you both agree on the changes, you can apply the new changes. If your ex-partner does not agree with changing the parenting plan, you can hire a lawyer yourself. A request can then be made to the court to change the parenting plan. The court will then decide to what extent the parenting plan should be changed. Any changes will then also be recorded in a decision.
