What is the value of an annual interview?

Questioner

In the annual interview last March, my manager promised that I would get a 30-hour contract as of September 22. (Now 28 hours fixed) This is also stated in the report that we signed together, digitally. Now that I have the contract it says temporary until the end of December. When I asked about it she said, yes that is always standard for me, first see if it fits in with the business and then if necessary. Fixed. This is NOT in our report. It only says: from September '22 30 hour contract. Is that binding, can I still demand that it be final? She didn't say anything about it verbally either! So I assumed it would just be solid.

You will have to be able to prove the agreement that you will receive a permanent contract. Only then would you possibly be able to enforce this, if necessary legally. A verbal promise or something similar is often insufficient evidence for your claim that you will (certainly) be given a permanent contract.
