Minus hours after resignation.

I recently resigned from my employer. Now I found out through a letter that I am 120 vacation hours in the red. My employer now wants to withhold this and offset it against my last salary. Is this allowed?

In these types of situations, it is first important to check whether your employer's information is correct and whether the employment contract and/or collective labor agreement contains provisions regarding these types of situations. In fact, the judiciary does not handle these types of cases uniformly. Some judges believe that there is a basis for offsetting excess vacation days taken, while others do not.
