Illness with permanent employment contract

Questioner

I have been working as a practice manager at a GP practice for five years, in consultation with my employer I reported sick when I went to rehabilitate, I have MS and have deteriorated rapidly over the past year... when my rehabilitation was almost over and I wanted to talk to my employer about reintegration, they told me they did not want me back. At the moment I am still 100 percent sick. Now my employer has 'cut' my income from last month, I earned 1629 per month, last month only 1437... my question now is, are they allowed to do this? According to my collective labor agreement I am entitled to 100% the first year

Your employer may not simply cut the salary to which you are entitled. There are only a few reasons why, for example, (a part of) may be withheld. For example, if you do not sufficiently cooperate with the reintegration or do not show up for appointments with the occupational health physician. If this is not the case, the employer must simply pay the full amount. Much depends on the circumstances of the case and without additional information it is difficult to say more about the case.
