What do we need to do to be both owners of the camper?

My boyfriend and I want to go on a trip together in a camper. We are not married, we do not have a cohabitation agreement. How can we make sure that the camper is officially ours. If things don't work out between us, or if one of us dies in an accident... Thanks for answer. Yours sincerely

You can put a statement on paper that the camper is the economic property of both of you or of one of you while the registration is different. The joint ownership certificate and the statement can be drawn up and declared by a notary and therefore it will have value for third parties. An apostille is then advisable. You can also draw up a simple cohabitation agreement in which other facts would be arranged if you do go to the notary. After all, more can go wrong than you can still arrange now, think of what to do with the house & residential rights, the belongings, insurance payments etc.
