Getting back your own belongings due to seizure by bailiff

Questioner

The person concerned (friend of mine) was a roommate (official co-resident) of the main resident. The contents of the main resident have been seized by a bailiff. This also included the person concerned's belongings, which therefore do not belong to the main resident. The person concerned wants his belongings back, which are also stored in a container. I have contacted the bailiff on behalf of the person concerned, who is not cooperating. It is also no longer possible to contact the main resident. The person concerned needs his belongings at his new place of residence. What should I do next?

Lawyer

The person concerned is entitled to his things because they are not subject to the attachment. He can file an objection with the bailiff. However, this must be proven, especially if the things were not separately in another room. The opposite may be proven using copies of invoices, receipts, photos and witnesses.
