Bruised hand and still have to work

Questioner

I slipped at work 2 months ago, I work as a cleaner at a holiday park. The doctor said that there might be a small tear and that I should take paracetamol, after 1.5 months of working I started to have more and more pain and my hand became swollen. I went back to the doctor and he told me to go to the physiotherapist, to the physiotherapist and he didn't want to do anything because she suspected a fracture in my hand. Back to the doctor again and had an x-ray taken, nothing could be seen and I was sent home again, I then asked to see another doctor and she referred me to an MRI, which showed that my hand was badly bruised, I am now in a cast. My employer has put me at the reception with other duties, I was reported better for 3 hours but I have to be present for 6 hours. My question is what are my rights in this? Yours sincerely,

The advice of the company doctor regarding your work possibilities is leading. I assume that you have been assessed by the company doctor. If you do not agree with the assessment or advice of the company doctor, you can request a second opinion from another company doctor or request an expert opinion from the UWV. In principle, this does not suspend the obligation to follow the advice of the company doctor.
