What can I do as a webshop sales plant sector?
Questioner
I live in Belgium, maybe I can tell my short story here. As a self-employed person I am active in the webshop sales plant sector. My accountant has used the flat-rate system for the declaration for years (coefficient 1.76 on the purchase invoices). A tax audit showed that the flat-rate may not be applied in my sector. The end result of the audit between purchase invoices and actual turnover is therefore not the reality and the net result is considerably higher with the result of sky-high tax increases, adjustment of social laws, VAT... My accountant hardly contacted me (at most 4/5 times) over the decades and just let me do what I wanted until now during the audit where my accountant has now admitted that they have incorrectly assessed the situation. The correct way should have been with a daily receipts book in my sector. After a joint conversation I sent an email and urged him to contact his civil liability insurance, to be continued. What advice do you recommend, I would have liked to hear this, many thanks in advanceLawyer
Did you do business mainly or also with the Netherlands and is your accountant Dutch? If not, Belgian law applies and you can ask for better legal assistance in your own region.Neem de volgende stap
