Who is responsible for paying additional costs for children?

Early 2017, my ex-partner and I separated and a parenting plan was drawn up. This plan describes that the children stay with me 6 out of 14 days and with their mother 8 out of 14 days and that the financial center is with her. I pay her child support and she receives child benefit. Now she wants to oblige me to buy sportswear for the children for the training sessions and competitions that take place while the children are staying with me. That is 1 competition per child every 2 weeks, during other training sessions and competitions they stay with her. I believe that she should provide the clothing and also pay the membership fee for the sports club. My question now is; what does all fall under costs that are for her account? I am also thinking of regular clothing, dental costs, school costs, etc.

In your situation, you can make a distinction between accommodation costs and accommodation-exceeding costs. Accommodation costs are borne by each parent who actually cares for the child in question. Accommodation-exceeding costs are then for the parent where the child in question has his or her main residence and also receives child support and child allowance. Costs that exceed accommodation costs include clothing and footwear, public transport (in connection with school), sports contributions, sports equipment, sports clothing, musical instruments, costs of after-school care/childcare, babysitting costs, subscriptions (including telephone), hairdresser, school fees, school excursions/school trips, computer, bicycle, non-reimbursed medical costs.

Apart from talking to her about this, there is little you can do about it. You can propose to reduce the alimony if you are going to pay the extra (stay exceeding) costs.
