Hidden defects in a building from 1900

I bought a property from 1900 with an old age clause. However, now all kinds of leaks are coming to light and the roof is as bad as anything. The sellers knew this, because buckets and containers are hidden everywhere. Can I hold the sellers liable for this?Lawyer
