We bought a pony 2 weeks ago. We have expressed our wishes: she does not have to compete in high-level competitions, but she must be well-behaved and master the basic gaits for our daughter. Seller, private, says has always ridden with young children, very well behaved and knows the basic gaits walk, trot and gallop We went to look twice and went for a ride once, but we could only do it around the village because driving is not allowed in the meadow. In hindsight, maybe we should have gotten a warning. Bought a pony but it soon became apparent that he did not know the basic gaits. Contacted the seller and he said he was aware of this and that it was our fault. Tried twice to get the seller to come by but he cancels the appointment each time. Instructor has been there twice but pony refuses everything, just stands still in the arena or walks backwards. The instructor also says that this pony clearly does not know the basic gaits. Seller does not want to take the pony back and says there is nothing he can do about it. We have been in contact via the app, so proof of this. We are desperate and very disappointed.
