What determines whether or not compensation is included in a settlement agreement?
Questioner
I have been working for this company for over 30 years, 12 of which were at a company that was acquired by them. I recently indicated in a conversation with my employer that I experience so much tension and stress in my work that this could lead to illness. In order to prevent me from ending up in a sick leave trajectory and to possibly make a career switch, it was agreed to make a benefit payment possible through a settlement agreement The settlement agreement that I received from my employer seems to mention the correct points for applying for benefits, but the agreement does not mention a (transition) compensation. How is it determined whether compensation is reasonable or justified?Lawyer
It is important that everything is described and arranged correctly in a settlement agreement. If you want me to look and think with you, you can contact me via info@penningadvies.nlNeem de volgende stap
