Rude neighbors! What is wrongful here and can we speak of damages?

Questioner

My neighbors, detached house, have placed a shed/canopy with a connecting wall and access door on the side of their house, and connected to my house, without any consultation or permission. This wall of wooden parts runs to the corner of my house (formerly a garage) and the top wooden part has been sawn out around my gutter and placed against my wall. Then everything is provided with a construction with a roof, and runs along the entire side of my house against the gutter and the eaves even a bit above my gutter. My gutter is practically no longer visible because the outer edge of the underside of the eaves also has foil, and that all hangs above my gutter. In extreme weather I fear water damage. The wooden parts of my gutter were also removed from my house by the neighbors, otherwise they would not have been able to install it this way. The view of the neighboring house (detached) and my house (half of a duplex) now looks like terraced houses! My roof line is also interrupted by the height of the shed. I have tried to negotiate but have been unsuccessful.

You must summon your neighbours to demolish because they have no right to build an extension against your house, unless something about it is described in the deed of you and them. You may also demand that they may leave the extension standing for a fee, only on personal grounds, so no real right. Furthermore, it may be that this extension is in conflict with building law and/or zoning plan. For some additional information or help, you may contact me directly.
