Employer does not pay various allowances from collective labor agreement

Questioner

I worked for a company for years. I have not been working there since the middle of this month. But before submitting my resignation, I was already busy with the allowances, which I was entitled to according to the collective labor agreement but never received, in order to have them paid retroactively up to 5 years ago. The employer is beating around the bush and has so far failed to show, indicate or indicate that he is taking action on this matter. I have become a member of the CNV but they cannot help me reclaim the as yet unknown amount because this occurred before I became a member. Now I am looking for help and advice (free or at least not too expensive) so that I receive what I am entitled to and what I have always worked hard for. If it is possible to recover the costs I incur by hiring help from the employer and that is 100% certain, then I am prepared to incur all necessary costs. I know they do this to all employees and it is a big company, even if it should lead to a lawsuit because they circumvent the collective labor agreement in this way and have little to do with the employees. Then they can go bankrupt as far as I'm concerned, but my colleagues and I deserve to be paid properly!

Lawyer

Perhaps you are eligible for a supplement (prodeo)? In that case, you will in principle only have to deal with a personal contribution that must be paid to the lawyer. See: www.rechtsbijstand.nl. If there are indeed outstanding wages, it is important, also in connection with the interruption of the limitation period, to send a registered letter (also by regular mail or email) to the employer as soon as possible, in which you indicate that you still want the outstanding claims. In addition to the statutory delay compensation, you could also claim collection costs. Perhaps these additional amounts, if recoverable, will cover the lawyer's fees in whole or in part (?). Feel free to contact me without obligation if you wish.
