Which parent decides whether a minor child gets a vaccination or not?

Questioner

We both have authority. I don't want a corona vaccination for my children. The father does. What now? I want to wait at least 2 years until more is known about the long-term side effects or information.

Lawyer

If the child is 12 years or older, the child can still be vaccinated against the will of one of the parents, if this child wishes to do so after careful consideration. For younger children, both parents must agree, or one of the parents can request substitute consent from the juvenile court.
