What is the next step in getting my neighbors to remove the shared shed?

We have been in talks with the neighbours for two years now to demolish the shed that we use together and rebuild their part. The shed is, as the property boundary used to be, entirely on our land, is divided in two by a wall, whereby we have access to one part from our garden and the neighbours to the other part. Incidentally, this has been there for so long that we assume that the property boundary is now also this way by prescription. We think that is fine too, but we really want this shed gone now. As mentioned, we have been in talks for two years, the neighbours have verbally agreed, but then do not take action. I have found a contractor twice to build their new shed, every three months I start the conversation again and they say they need some more time. I am done with it now and want to know how we can tackle this now. Incidentally, we still have a good relationship with the neighbours (for now). What are my next steps to persuade my neighbours to demolish the shed? Thank you!

You can enforce it but that will not improve the relationship and will also cost you more money so try to find out what the reason is for the excruciating delay. (financial/stress?)
