What are the exact rules for building against the property line of the rear neighbours?

I have a semi-detached house. Right behind me is a similar semi-detached house. We share with 4 houses a building of 4 garages in the middle of our gardens, in the extension of our side walls. Now I want to build a terrace roof against the property line. The garage is 250cm high. I want to build the canopy perpendicular to the garage. 4 meters deep. and 6 meters wide along the backyard on my own land. Preferably 3 meters high, 50 cm higher than the garages. I find it a complicated issue to find. I find the municipal websites a drama. The area within one meter of the property boundary would be 6m2. Total surface area of canopy 24m2. And I plan to close this at the back and side by means of neat white insulated sandwich panels. Provided that this is permitted of course. The sandwich walls will be removable. And serves to make the whole windproof. I would like to know what my rights/obligations are.Lawyer
Whether you are allowed to build this structure by your municipality is described in the zoning plan. Usually, maximum heights % of surfaces are used. On walls of garages that are jointly owned, extensions may be built if this is described in the purchase agreement.Neem de volgende stap
