Son wants to register at our address, what are the consequences?

Questioner

My wife and I are tenants of a rental apartment (married-AOW-pension). Our son wants to sell his house and buy a bungalow on a bungalow park. Because permanent residence is not allowed on that park, he has been advised to register at our address. What are the consequences of that situation? (taxes-rent-municipal taxes etc.)

Lawyer

Landlord must approve that you are letting your house in use. It makes no difference to the right to AOW but possibly to the right to allowances, because it can be assumed that the house or part of it is rented out. Furthermore, address research can take place so that it comes to light that son does not live at the registered address. That is an offence.
