28 weeks pregnant in healthcare, COVID19 measures, absenteeism due to illness?

Questioner

I will be 28 weeks pregnant from next Thursday. I work in direct care with client contact where it is difficult to keep a distance of 1.5 meters. The RIVM advises to do other work from that period, my employer wants to cooperate with this. There are many other tasks that I can do, so that I can fill my hours in this way. However, HR indicates that I will then fall under sick leave, since I cannot perform my contractual duties. As a result, I am required to take leave 2 weeks earlier (6 weeks instead of 4). But I do fill my hours with other tasks, so I am working 100%. Is it correct that I fall under sick leave?

You are entitled to continued payment of your wages. You are not obliged to stop working earlier. If you are absent due to illness, you will not have to do any other work.
