We can't do anything about this TV breaking again under their warranty?

Questioner

Good afternoon, We have a Philips TV (65pus8601/12) that broke 4 weeks ago under warranty for a motherboard repair. They installed a new motherboard and the TV was as good as new according to the technician. Now they can't repair the TV for economic reasons and/or parts that can't be delivered. We've been without a TV for 4 weeks now and we've received 2 goodwill offers, 1 for 908 euros and 1 for an equivalent TV with an additional 1900 euros to pay. We have a warranty on that repair, don't we? Isn't that the case that if they can't/don't want to repair it, they have to deliver an equivalent product? Not with ridiculous additional payments? We can't do anything about the fact that this TV breaks again under warranty? Thank you in advance regards Steve

When did you buy the TV? If you are currently getting the current value back due to the inability to supply parts, that is a reasonable offer. Furthermore, to see what the warranty really entails and what you could expect from it, I will have to see it. You can send it to me after you have made direct contact.
