Paying Out VVE Credit? Get Free Advice!

VVE is dissolved; all bank balances of the members have been paid out except for 1 member; this member has left for abroad without leaving an address; what to do with the balance;

The missing member has also paid his contributions up to the last, I assume, and that may provide an entry point to find the departed member. It seems to me that it is the responsibility of the directors of the VVE, an association, to do everything in their power to pay out the credit to the rightful owner. Simply saying, he's gone so forget it is too easy.

This person left for abroad 2 years ago without stating a destination; emailed several last known (email) addresses; no response; last known bank account number blocked. Apparently he does not want any contact. We intend to send a registered letter to his old address (for the sake of form). We have been in contact with the current resident, he told us that the person left for abroad in the middle of the night. can you do more with this? thanks in advance and kind regards

That seems like a good idea to me and in that letter you can set a term of, for example, a month. If you do not hear anything within that term, you as a board can decide to give the amount that he is owed a different destination.
