Question about sick leave and contract? Get free advice!

Hello, To make a long story short, I have a question. I have been on sick leave since at least February. Now they have not renewed my contract due to a 'business decision'. Now I have an appointment with the occupational health and safety doctor, even though my contract has not been extended. My contract term is until October 23 and my appointment with the occupational health and safety doctor is September 26. So do I still have to go to that appointment with the occupational health and safety doctor or do I have to cancel it or will it all be done automatically?

You must keep the appointment of the company doctor, because this is important for the further determination of your illness. If you remain ill after the end of the contract, the UWV will take over the file with your permission.
