Legal Advice on Parental Authority in Poland

Questioner

The following is about http://www.rechtswinkel.nl/antwoorden/6109 Poland has been consistently in the top 5 of countries with the most reprimands by the European Court for years. http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cour_europ%C3%A9enne_des_droits_de_l%27homme Only Turkey, Russia, Ukraine and Romania do worse. I wonder if I have some points here: 1) The OTS states: '...Beschränkung der elterlichen Gewalt für X und Y über de minorjährigen Z wegen dat nicht ingemessen nachkommen von ihren elterlichen Pflicht' Another Child Protection document states: 'Der Kindesvater, holländischer Staatsangehöriger, hat das kind am 09.05.2012 anerkannt.' Apparently Poland also makes a distinction between 'parental authority' (elterliche Gewalt/Sorge) and 'recognition'. Recognized the child at the city hall in Poland. But, wasn't the court aware that I did not have parental authority? It now seems that I am limited in parental authority without ever having had it. 2) Is it normal that when the mother is restricted in her parental authority, this is also done automatically and without any warning? applies in advance to the father, who lives hundreds of miles away and has nothing to do with the whole affair? To be restricted in parental authority you must be doing something wrong, right? But I was in the Netherlands all that time, everything happened far away from me, without me knowing anything. Never notified child protection or court of any problems, had to hear everything through my girlfriend. If you have acknowledged the child, aren't you responsible for the daily care and upbringing of the child? For maintenance/alimony only. Am I now unfairly limited in my parental authority (which I probably never had)? 3) Only received an invitation to the hearing and a statement after 56 days This stated that I had 7 days after September 4 to object to the out-of-home placement, but I only received this on October 30. Never got the chance to appeal within the 7 day period. To me it seems like the court thought I had parental authority, when in my opinion I did not. Question: Could it be that the court made mistakes here?
