Hello, I went to the doctor for the first time 6 years ago. with serious and very severe back complaints. which can also be found in my medical records . I have been visiting my GP for 5 years to get help I have been referred to the Medical Hospital 4-5 times in total for back photos. by the way they couldn't find anything on it which I didn't know at the time was that you can't recognize a hernia on back photos but only through an MRI scan I only found out after 5 years I collapsed a few times like jelly through my legs and then I landed with my head on the heater twice where I now have two large scars on my face and my shoulder was out of its socket or something like that but because I had a good friend of mine come by because she had heard about this story and came to tell me that I had to be in Germany but then I said that they couldn't find anything and told me the story of that hernia so I went to the doctor and then after a lot of effort I was referred for an MRI scan then the results came and I did indeed have a hernia and had to be operated on urgently then an appointment was made for hospital for emergency admissions he made an appointment in the wrong hospital so I had to wait for a new appointment when that was all arranged they found out that my blood pressure was much too high but that was because I was no longer receiving my medication at that time for blood pressure without my knowledge I had a continuous prescription for a normal prescription that should always be the same and can be picked up monthly then the operation did not go ahead again then I got a drop foot from which I will probably never get rid of because there is still no improvement to be seen and felt about 25 weeks after the operation. Now the big question is, can I hold my GP liable because I have been at home on social assistance for 56 years because of the GP because I cannot work at the moment. Regards, Tom, thanks in advance.Lawyer
What an annoying situation. Your GP must adhere to his duty of care. It does not seem that way because an incorrect assessment has been made. This does not necessarily lead to liability. It must be established that the professional error in question can be attributed to him. When I read your story, it does seem that way. You can hold your GP liable in this way, whereby you must be able to demonstrate the error as much as possible. You would be wise to seek legal assistance in this. I can assist you in this case. If the error is acknowledged, the legal costs are usually reimbursed by the GP or his insurer.
