Divorce from France: Legal Advice

I am looking for a lawyer who can help me with my divorce. The problem is that I live in France and my partner in the Netherlands. Is this possible without having to arrange too much travelling back and forth, since we have 2 children of school age in France.

If you and your partner both choose that the Dutch court is competent, then the Dutch court can consider itself competent to decide on the divorce. If you are both Dutch, then the Dutch court with Dutch law is also competent. You will have to answer these questions first. Traveling back and forth is not necessary if you correspond with your lawyer by email, for example. If you and your partner roughly agree on the divorce, then everything is much easier.
