Employer's Declaration of Refusal | Legal Aid Office
Questioner
I work as a substitute in education. I work for one board from the end of September until the summer holidays. I need an employer's statement, but my employer refuses to give it. According to them, that is the board's policy. Can I do anything about this?Lawyer
it is not mandatory to cooperate with an employer and declaration of intent. You can always try to talk to the employer and tell them that you as an employee cannot derive any rights from the declaration. Perhaps you can get more clarity about why you are not getting the declaration and discuss this.Take the next step
