Kitesurfing school liability - Free legal advice
Questioner
I recently broke my neck during a kitesurfing lesson. After the fall I got up, dressed myself and drove myself to the emergency room. I have numb toes, 1 thumb and nerve pain on my thigh. Can I hold the school liable for consequential damages?Lawyer
Dear questioner, then the question must be answered whether in this case the kitesurfing school should have prevented you from seeking help independently. I think you will succeed in doing so if the injury was foreseeable as a result of the fall and the damage (the consequences of the fact that you broke your neck) could have been prevented in this way. mr. One of the key questions is whether the kitesurfing school has taken all measures that could reasonably be expected of it to prevent such accidents. If not, then that is a basis for liability. My office regularly handles personal injury cases. In practical terms, this is a matter of puzzling together to see whether you can identify what the surfing school could (and should) have done differently or better.Neem de volgende stap
