Legal Assistance in Labor Disputes
Questioner
Since August I have been working as a temporary worker with a 0-hour contract via a flex pool. After working far too much, and this was also somewhat demanded of me, I collapsed after 4 months, a burn out. My contract states that if I don't work within the first 6 months (for whatever reason), I won't be paid. Which I understand very well, but here they also include (long-term) illness. I am also not entitled to sickness benefits from the UWV, not as long as my contract is still running. My contract runs until August 2018. It shouldn't be the case that someone who literally works himself to death, has become ill partly because of the work, and now it is so easily said: "figure it out for yourself". Does it make sense to work on this through legal assistance?Lawyer
What industry do you work in? Normally, if you have worked x number of hours per week over a period of at least three months, that is considered the average number of hours worked. This means that vacation days/vacation pay/sick pay should also be calculated on that average. Is it possible to send me a copy of the employment contract and other correspondence?Neem de volgende stap
