Property Valuation: Is it Legal?

Is a home valuation legally valid? It concerns a house that is jointly owned by me and my ex-partner. The house remained undivided in the divorce. The divorce settlement agreement states that an appraisal should be carried out in which the costs were shared. This never happened, but a valuation was done by a real estate agent. Now my ex-partner wants to stick to the value that is stated there. I indicate that this value is not valid because it is not an official valuation. Can you comment on this?

You can simply instruct your own appraiser to revalue the property and, if necessary, force your ex to contribute to this.
