Questioner

I have been employed as a sales manager for three and a half years now, my output regarding figures is good. However, they want to evict me on the grounds of a difference of opinion, and for that reason I have been suspended since last Friday. This Tuesday, September 27, I received a settlement agreement after a conversation with the employer with the request to sign it by today. I did not do so, and asked for a postponement by email until October 6. My request was accepted by the employer. Question and what to do now?

It is good that you did not sign the agreement. It is now important to have the agreement checked by a dismissal lawyer. This will prevent you from receiving less than you are entitled to.

1) What kind of contract do you have and if it is fixed term, how many months do you have left? 2) Can you provide the turnover figures and targets? 3) Can you say more about the difference in insight? 4) Do you want to quit the job? If not, don't sign or just sell your skin dearly. The answer to this question affects the next point. 5) think about the end date (near or far) with continued payment, (very) positive testimonial, good final settlement and all kinds of compensation to which you are entitled. 6) please note, after signing you still have a period of reflection. Within two weeks you can still come back to the agreements. If you have any further questions, please let us know. Think about this
