What I would really like to know is whether I can continue to own my home in the Netherlands with all forms of taxes etc., but still settle in France.Lawyer
Depends on how long you want to live in France. If you work independently as an entrepreneur, you can consider a secondment for up to 5 years. However, the home ownership scheme only applies if you actually live there, so the house will disappear into box 3. The other schemes such as child-related budget, AOW and AW and child benefit can continue in the case as above.
