Legal assistance in case of disputes between neighbours

Dear Legal Aid Clinic, We have lived in our current home for 10 years. Since then and even before that, our neighbors have partially attached a metal fence to our front wall (30 cm up our wall), and they have attached a rose bush to it. To what extent do we have the right to ask (demand) them to remove this fence and rose bush and attach it to their own wall? We would like to use the part of the wall where they have the fence. For the sake of completeness, the previous occupants of our house gave their consent to attach the fence to the wall, we were never asked anything and therefore we never officially gave our consent.

You are not bound by agreements made by the previous occupants insofar as these are not imposed as a chain clause in the deed of transfer. I understand that this is not the case, so you can simply demand that the fence be removed.
