Ir/Madam, My parents recently sold their house (Zwijndrecht). They agreed with the purchasing party that they will move out of the house in October. My parents want to buy a house (Leusden) but do not have one yet. They want to temporarily live in their holiday home (in Goedereede). Now my mother has received a rejection from the municipality of Middelharnis to register there. What options are there for my parents to still register somewhere during their temporary stay in their holiday home until they have found a house? Kind regards and thanks in advance for your answer.

Your parents can consider a postal address for the temporary bridging. You must then register at that address in the municipality with the permission of a postal address provider. The latter determines whether you are eligible for a postal address.
