Legal questions about temporary contracts?

Dear all, I have been offered a temporary contract, minimum 0 hours, maximum 36 hours. The cover letter to my contract states: Temporary workers have a duty to appear. You are obliged to respond to a call if it is made 24 hours before the start or on the day itself before 9:00. Temporary workers with average hours and a temporary/fixed-term contract must be available on all working days and temporary workers with a permanent contract must be available on 4 days (1 preferred day is indicated as a day off in consultation with the manager of the flex pool, other than Tuesday and Thursday).
